Wrong About Tyga

Tyga was not wrong when he said black women do not have a lot of role models. Completely ignoring my beef with role models being someone you don't actually know, he is correct.

Tyler Young over at Teabreakfast.com responded defensively with names and pictures of black women who have done some shit. That doesn't make them role models to the girls who are on social media. Exactly like Tyga said.

Options are: stuffy, rich and asexual like Oprah. Loose, rich and hypersexual like Nicki. Proper, rich and a sexual icon like Beyonce. If you're athletic, you can be like Serena: humble, rich and sexy. Michelle Obama barely makes the list because she isn't considered commonly attractive. No girl watching VH1 or on IG wants to look like Michelle. She isn't traditionally pretty. And if you don't think there are young ladies in the world who believe they can steal the President from his wife because they're fine as hell, can cook and make that thang pop, you're mistaken. And that's who Tyga is speaking on. The lost girls.

When young ladies turn on the tv what do they commonly see? They see females who have shit because they are fine enough for a man to give it to them. So let's wonder why young ladies post inappropriate pics of their fineness for the public admiration of men. Let's wonder why young ladies don't work on loving themselves and developing their character. Let's wonder why they think they deserve for men to do XYZ because they're beautiful, albeit emotionally fucked. Yup, let's wonder.
Or we can try to understand the truth of what Tyga said instead of shooting it down because we don't like it or him.
